You stated that you wanted the scope for vermin control. With that in mind, you generally will not have time or need for an adjustable objective...and 2-7 power is all that you need with the .22 mag....

Just buy the RWS-R50...same manufacturer and generally better accuracy than the Federal UM-22 was. I have shot both extensively, and like the R50 better.
