I would love to own a 41, but it is not in my retired budget ! it would be an honor but will not happen. I am happy with my 2 BMs, 2 mk IVs, colt 1953 challenger, etc etc !

I never take it apart, just action out of the stock and hose it down with spray gun scrubber, does an excellent job and still functions perfectly. I read too many horror stories about the 77 !!:eek:

looks like the bell is barely missing touching the rear sight, or does it touch ? good looking combo, sounds like it is getting the job done.

if my memory is correct, it is Russian made. I have no idea about the .22 LR , box should tell where it is made. I think Monarch is Academys store brand.not positive.

I have only seen pics of the wildcat, not looking like the same quality as the nylon rifles, they were light and graceful little rifles with a LOT of CLASS ! just my opinion.

they all have the floating chamber, the one you saw sounds like an early one since it is marked "lubricated ammo". the early rifles were marked 550, later ones were 550-1. the 2 letter date code will...
