My new Kimber M82 just arrived!

It just arrived the other day. I'm amazed at how beautiful it is.
Absolutely no rust, no razor mark, no scratches. Magnificent.
Best of all it has the dark wood stock with lots of rich mineral...

I've always prefered copper jacketed projectiles.
The lead projectiles seem to "cake-up" in the rifling and build up. Copper always cleans out quicker and easier.
Also, lead bullets always...

Finally got around to smelling the Ballistol...yes, it smells like black licorice!

The can says it "protects aluminum and prevents pitting". Sounds safe to me.

Also says it "cleans and disolves...

Update

UPDATE!
I finally found a little time to work on the Mauser.
I removed all of the wood...it was easy.

After removing the furniture, I found that the bluing on the metal parts was near perfect...
