The copper washed/plated bullets are still coated with wax or some sort of bullet lube so there shouldn't be any contact with the bore itself.

I'd look at the Ruger American Target the barrel is already threaded and it has one of the best magazines there is. In my opinion it would be hard to go wrong with that one.
