I don't have any issues with mine either. 2 - 10 round mags and the factory 5 round.
My stock FVSR is very accurate.
Just guessing here that the vast majority of MK II owners don't have issues...

This is a pretty good shooter. I don't have 200 rounds through it yet and shot this "tack driver" target yesterday. Using a Nikon 4-9 scope set at about 8. Shooting off of a front bag. CCI sv ammo....

I have recoil springs from CWA and Taylor Tactical plus the stock GSG springs and kept switching them out till one of them worked.
Finding the right recoil spring for a 1911 45 is the same process.

The Nelson on a decent lower will outshoot any stock MK series. Do the VQ accuracy kit on the Ruger and they will be a little closer. Quite frankly I wouldn't do much more than a trigger on a MK IV...

I have had both. If you are a 1911 guy I'd go with the Nelson. The 22/45 has the grip angle correct but it doesn't feel like a 1911.

Both of my 617s are 100% reliable as they are setup...

I had my gunsmith install the Apex in my 617. He used the factory mainspring too. He "tuned" the spring a little. The strain screw is also snugged all the way in.
