I have also heard that Stingers are designed to develop their velocity in rifle barrels and specifically in longer rifle barrels. Can't remember where I heard it but mentally filed it as reliable...

No argument there. Zeroing is a challenge for some shooters. Not being aware of the existence of two zero distances can make ir pretty confusing. If you have a good zero at say 15 yards you might...

I scored 12 in my first match. That included 4 turkeys and 5 rams at 75 and 100 yards, and no pigs at 50. Makes no sense. On the second match that day I got some pigs and scored 16.

All of the distances mentioned here would be the "near zero". That is, the trajectory is still going up. There would also be a "far zero" at 50 yards or more as the round comes back down. This can be...

If the barrel you want to use can be threaded, that's what I'd do.The tapered barrel on my 455 American is too narrow at the muzzle to thread and I didn't want to cut it down so I bought one from CZ....

Single-shot Loader

Not an adaptor for the magazine, this is a loader that lets you pick up a single round and insert it in the chamber of a 10/22. If you get the dimensions right it self-aligns and the round slides...
