Yes but there are still prone shooters out there using 52's in matches. This is not a collector item only, it is valid match gear. Karl was getting (if I remember correctly) $450 for his triggers...

I have one that is an 18000 serial and even Anschutz could not tell me. Best guess seems to be late 1950's or early 1960's and yours of course is quite a bit older.
