How about a Henry "Stainless Boy"?

Call me a heretic, but I've got the "all weather" bug, but I'm really looking into a lever action. Right now, the only .22 lever action I've seen made in stainless is a new model by Browning. But the...

So they've been making them all that time?

Wow. I thought the Microgroove rifling was a fairly recent development. I've been looking for a Marlin 39 "Mountie" and I didn't know if it was available with Micro Grooving.

Anybody know if all...

Where to get XR3 grip frame?

I read somewhere that the new model Single Six would accept the original XR3 grip frame. Does anyone know whether it comes standard or with the larger XR3-RED grip frame? Folks really seem to prefer...

Smile No offense to anyone. Just to cover all ground

[Ed note, I wrote this message as Randall 1611 was writing much the same thing]

I definitely would consider myself among those who would rather build than buy. I'm just a noob wondering out loud...

To Build or Buy an "Ultimate"?

Hi, guys.
I know this question may offend some of the hardcore DIY crowd (myself included), but if a fella wanted the best bang for their buck would it make sense to just go buy the bottom of the...

Nice Looking Single Six

Plinker,
That is a better picture of the Single Six than I've seen anywhere else. On the Ruger Website, the individual pics of single sixes make the barrels look so anemic. Like they're too skinny...

Thanks for the insight Markbo. That's just the sort of common sense I need to hear as I'm just a noob, and am probably likely to fall for hype.
For my budget, I'd really like to get the best bang...

Thumbs up Where do I buy a reversible barrel?

Hi, everyone.
I'm new to this board, and I was immediately intrigued by Chief Dave's 10/22 all rimfire conversion mod. I've been able to track down the Bull Packer stock, but I don't know where to...
