If I was going up against a "herd" of zombies I wouldn't be doing it with a .22 rifle. Plenty of hi-cap semi centefire rifles for that scenario.

I think flangster and Hi-NV Shooter have given just about all the reasons I can think of. My bet would be the scope followed by inconsistent ammo, then parallax error.

I changed my favorite since this thread was first started. It's still a S&W Shield 9mm, but the Performance Center with a Streamlight TLR-6 Flashlight/Laser combo that is my favorite EDC.

I've never had a rifle shoot worse from a good bedding job. While I don't think all rifles necessarily need to be bedded, it does help to keep them consistent IMHO.

I have the rubber like finger groove grips on my Buckmark. Not sure if they're made by Hogue or someone else. While not nearly as nice as the rosewood grips they feel great shooting the pistol.
