I don't know if they were exclusive to Brownells. I have a couple of pairs that have 2 screws on each side as well and I didn't get them from there.

I know it's fine but I can't bring myself to use a set of rings that only uses one screw on each side instead of two. I realize this isn't a problem on a rimfire but I personally just am not a fan.

At the very least tape bed it. Right now your action is basically teetering in the stock if tightening the front action screw pulls the barrel down. Not very good...

I would use your oem spring instead of the one that came with the VQ kit. The VQ kit is pretty decent for the $ and can be made really good with a little polishing.
