IIRC , I had to start with the racker end at around one oíclock and rotate clockwise to sort of screw it...

With the ease of upper change , Iím starting to collect extra uppers and Iím able to build models not offered by Ruger . I sometimes take different uppers to the range and swap them out .

Fitting 1911 grips to a Mark IV 22/45 takes a lot more work .

The slide is much easier once the hammer is cocked . Very little effort needed.
Left hand is the weaker one and really hurts trying to hold onto the frame...
