I'm going to suggest it's really going to be determined by specific barrel vs ammo selection. Each shooter is going to have to try multiple brands of ammo to see what their gun/barrel likes best....

Saw this posted on a 10/22 Facebook group today. Guy said he had shot his 10/22 and then put it in the safe. When he got it out later parts felt loose.

This is where one of those arbor mounted boresights come in handy. If the other methods fail. Easy to center the cross hairs on those style boresights.
