I used to spend quite a bit of time around here. Had a Ruger 10/22 mag that was awesome. Ruger melted it down when the bolt broke. Now I have a VQ. Wont need any other one for sure.

Between 18-19" is the sweet spot for maximum velocity in 22WMR. It is my belief that you get better accuracy from a 20" barrel after things smooth out a bit and it will be more quiet.
