Unhappy 552 for lefties !

I found out that bolt handle will hurt when shooting lefty ! I am very careful where I place my right hand !:rolleyes::eek:

good ,didnt have to remove rear sight !

looks like the bell is barely missing touching the rear sight, or does it touch ? good looking combo, sounds like it is getting the job done.

if my memory is correct, it is Russian made. I have no idea about the .22 LR , box should tell where it is made. I think Monarch is Academys store brand.not positive.

I have only seen pics of the wildcat, not looking like the same quality as the nylon rifles, they were light and graceful little rifles with a LOT of CLASS ! just my opinion.

I own 2 572s, and one 275 Winchester .22 magnum . the 572s are far superior, but I like the look and feel of the old Winchester. it is ammo picky, will only run perfect with Hornaday V MAX sharp tip...

my dad gave me a new marlin 99 in 1960, had a beautiful tiger stripe stock. I traded it off in the late 1960s, wish I had kept it.
