I have several of each.
The 8-3/8Ē barreled 617 needs a bipod and wheels to use it.

The old 17s are classics and are well balanced.

With the full lug, the 617 balances best with a 4Ē barrel.

I use Eezox on all my guns. It is a decent CLP and is decent at protecting against rust. It may not be the best at any particular thing, but overall it is really good.

To me, no razor cut is worth $75 to $100. My firearms still look like new after years of usage. I donít abuse them and major flaws irritates me.

An 82G with no razor cut was relatively rare.
