I have a newer made 41 not shown in the table in the sticky.

Serial number is UEE78XX.

Anyone have an idea what year this one was made?

41 grip removal

This is going to sound stupid but is there a trick to removing stock grips? I'm having a heck of a time getting these off after removing the two screws and I dont want to damage them.

Both barrels are missing the rear sight. I will probably keep the 5.5" scoped and shoot the 7" with open sights. Are all model 41 rear sights compatible with each other?

Picked it up today at what I thought was a very good price. Looks immaculate. Came with two barrels, 5.5" and 7", and two scopes.

So for a second time, I wrapped a .223 nylon brush with a patch with flitz, attached to a rod chucked into a drill and ran it in and out of the rear half of the chamber... this time for a little bit...

No need to apologize. I dont see any buffing lines or rounded edges, perhaps it was just the oil wiped on the gun and the glare on from the photo. The extractor rod does show a good amount of bluing...
