I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. Mine loves CCI SV and shoots Blazers almost as consistently accurate.

I'm pretty sure the Henry SGR already has the large loop....and yes they are great with or without gloves.

Also, I wouldn't consider scoping it (or any lever) since yours came with Williams peep...

The rifle fit me well but I found it got a bit nose heavier after continuous shooting off hand. I would imagine the 24" will be worse if you're not benching it....
