I find the electric mattress cover does a better job then an electric blanket. Separate controls for both sides. We just run it on lowest setting..

Anything less then 300 degrees will give the skin a rubbery texture. I recommend you cut the backbone out, (spatchcock).
Will shorten cook time a bunch. I did a 15 lb bird in 3 hrs at 325...

I tried for a year, off and on, trying to get one (17 hm2 conversion) to be reliable. Bolts, springs, weighted bolt handles. It's now a great shooting .22
A Savage bolt action scratched my itch..
