It cuts deeper at $5-600./case, Eley bit me once and RWS:dogrun:

Smaller amounts, a few bricks here and a few bricks there, is actually a better way to go, doesn't hurt...

You can use a strip of wax paper ~1/2" wide 4-5"...

You can use a strip of wax paper ~1/2" wide 4-5" long as a feeler gauge when checking for wood and metal contact; the no stick peel able target paper also works, thinner paper but not as thin as wax...
