I somehow missed where you had originally said you had the -10 Kidd spring installed. I have Kidd guide rods in every single one of my 10/22's and they all have the medium spring installed. I used to...

You should be getting 5 shot 50 yard groups at around 1-1 1/4". If they are better than that then I would say that you lucked out with a good OEM barrel.

I would just send it back to Ruger. No point in trying better ammo. If you already tried a VQ extractor and are still having problems then it's probably the rifle itself. You shouldn't have that kind...

I honestly don't care. If someone wants to post pictures of a great group they shot at 25 feet that's fine also. As long as they're out shooting and getting enjoyment out of it that's all that really...

I also agree with Rick that you can't go wrong with a Kidd or Feddersen. I have a few of each and used to have 2 TacSol (still have one) barrels. They look nice but they're not in the same league as...

If your going to be shooting at 200 yards I would recommend getting a 20-25 moa base or a set of Burris Signature rings with the offset inserts. I don't know exactly how much elevation is needed at...

Do you know what the ideal length barrel would be, if all choices were the BB (OD profile/dimensions same) or whatever? Also, would it be, whichever barrel gives peak speed/velocity? If so,...

As mentioned the barrel material will not make a difference in accuracy. The same goes for barrel length, it's more a matter of preference. Heavy bb's are usually going to be more accurate than a...

There is no difference. You use AO (adjustable objective) to adjust the parallax (explained above) in a scope. Some scopes have a side adjustment and some have it on the front objective.

I see them too, but I also noticed that their doesn't seem to be any interest in them at that price. At least not the 3-9×. You can get a VX-3 6.5-20× for that price. The 3-9×'s that I've actually...

Nice survival build, but it looks like you have plenty of extra room for more ammo and mags. Also just a suggestion, where you are using it as a survival gun a good paracord wrapped sling is a nice...

You don't have to use the set feature if you don't want to. To the op I would grab it before someone else does. The rifle and scope combo is probably worth quite a bit more than they are asking for....

I've never had a bad Feddersen or Kidd barrel and I've had quite a few of each (still have 3 Feddersen's and 4 Kidd's). I don't own a Shilen barrel but if I ever build another 10/22 that's probably...

The Timber Creek ones are ok. They are a little thin. I've tried most if not all of the wrap around ones and for an OEM trigger group the TacSol ones are the best IMHO as far as ease of use and looks.

If you can get that kind of 10 shot group off a bipod, with a Bushnell RD, and Aguilla ammo at 75-85 yards I'd love to see what it would do with a scope, some match ammo, and a rest.

+1 no sense in buying a replacement until you see what the barrel you have can do. If you do decide to go with a new barrel I think any one of your 3 choices would be great shooters.

If you've never taken a 10/22 trigger apart then I'd say give yourself about 20-25 mins. If you've done it before about 5 mins.
