Well, if it ain't half bad, it ain't half bad. Can always do it later, takes all of 5 minutes. Pretty decent groups for open sights at 25 yards too. Like to see the progress on the project.

If I recall correctly, I think I just pushed the original stock screws into the holes in the replacement recoil pad and screwed them into the stock. They get "hidden" that way and do in fact stay put.
