I think what people are saying (myself included) is that 17HMR rifles can shoot very accurately. The problem is due to no match grade ammo it's not possible for them to do it on a consistent basis....

+1 There are other companies that make good 10/22 products, but Kidd makes everything good and offer an accuracy guarantee. VQ products are good quality but no better than Kidd at a higher price....
