About that buffer...

I have a 2 1/2" barrel High standard Sentinel,

a great 9 shot alluminum frame revolver. Mine was made in 1956. They use HKS speed loaders for 9 shot .22 H&R's, which makes it a nice light carry piece if you like a .22 for that.

Don't repair it yourself. Call around and find a good smith who has experience on these revolvers-they are very different from anything else made (one of the reasons I like them). Try the hammer fix...

It is one of the best shooting .22 rimfires I have ever owned. It is not in the same class as the old Anshutz Savage I shot in competition in the mid 1960's, but it is close enough, and shoots way...

Here in PA we can not use autoloaders to hunt. I have been using

Marlin bolt actions for about 15 years, now use a Glenfield M25, bought used. It has a very good plain but adult size stock and feels good to me. I used to shoot .22 rifles competitavely about 40...
