The Engage series is a weird mix of 30mm and 1 inch scopes.

I have the 4-16x44 on my Tikka T1X. It has a 30mm scope tube. The reticle is thin, thinner than I would like for hunting, but has been...

I don't shoot in anything other than my local club matches, and we see it even at that lowly level. Some folks show up with beat up old Marlins, others with Anschutz. Guess who wins?

I've had mine for about a year now, with absolutely no problems with feeding or ejection. It is the smoothest feeding 22 I own.
I did have a problem with cold bore fliers, but now that I have really...

So they actually engrave the name in the wood of the Royal version? Everything else seems to be a move in the right direction except that.

I hope the match barrel is available alone for a...

In my opinion, the best of the youth 22 rifles. I had a Chipmunk, a Rascal, a CZ Scout, and a Hotshot for my kids. The Hotshot was the most accurate and light enough for the kids to shoot off hand.

On another forum, I read that this is coming from Tikka, not the dealer. They have a new strict policy on MAP that they have to follow.

I bought a 17 inch heavy taper when they first came out. It has consistently matched my Volquartsen barrel. I just bought a stainless 17 inch heavy taper with doubts that it would shoot as well, but...

The 452 had different actions for lr and magnum. The inletting of the stocks is different, with different action screw locations. That is probably a bigger problem than 452 vs 453 inletting.

Argg!!! That has been my problem. The 22/45 upper is way too tight to get on the Mark II grip, the Mark II is way too loose on the 22/45 frame.

Swapping grip frames between Mark II and 22/45

I have both a Mark II with the standard thin 6" barrel, and a 22/45 (of the Mark II era, not a new model) with a 4" bull barrel.

I'd really like the 4" upper on the Mark II grip frame, but it is...

My only problem has been with a 22/45 and a Mark II. The 22/45 upper just would not fit on the Mark II frame, and the Mark II upper was very loose on the 22/45 frame.

I'll give .2" a try. If I'm going to pay for the machine work, I might as well get as much gain as possible.

Question about Setting the Barrel Back

I've been reading the threads here about getting the most out of your factory barrel, and others about setting the barrel back and rechambering. There seems to be two ways of doing so, one removes...
