New stock

Save some of the sanding dust and mix it with an epoxy.

AAA Grade... I don't think so. Not junk but closer to junk than AAA.

Looks like nice quarter sawn walnut with some very nice curl figure, perfect for a slender straight grip stock. Should really shimmer once you have a finish on it, yet have strength in the grip.
Perfect choice in my opinion.
