Don't know

Will check my photobucket account and see what is wrong and get them back up.
Don't know how photos disappeared from here but they were still in my PBucket account. I just loaded them again.

I assume that is a Marlin in the last photo trying to survive in a sea of Rugers.

Barrel arrived yesterday so I installed last night. Hoping to get to the range tomorrow to test things out.

I hear some complaints about the finish but I like it....matte black. While I prefer the way KIDD threads his barrels with the blind cap I'm happy to see Fedderson included an o ring on his to help hold the cap in place.

I also really like the blind marking on the Fedderson barrels!

Got the barrel installed and mounted up a new Weaver V16 in a DNZ mount and took it to the indoor range to sight it in at 25yds and try a few different ammo types. What I found was that this rifle wasn't too picky about ammo but it did favor some of what I had over others.

Sorry these weren't measured or marked but here's what it did using my rear bag as a front rest and a box of Blazer as a rear support......not ideal but I was really just wanting to get a zero for my outdoor range trip later today.

Ruger Receiver
Fedderson 16.5" Threaded Barrel
Boyds Tacticool Stock
KIDD Trigger Upgrade Kit
Weaver V16
Tac-65 Silencer

Top group is Federal Ultramatch
Bottom Left is SK Standard
Bottom Right is Eley Match...the flier was me.

Norma Tac 22

This is Blazer.....that's 4 shots and one flier caused by scope mount coming loose. Can't wait to try it today now that everything has been tightened back up. Upper right is Aguila Rifle Match.

Other ammo tried which shot well but not as well as those pictured:
SK Match
Aguila Rifle Match
Aguila HV
CCI Mini Mags

Feddersen 18" contour barrel in 50th model DSP.

50yds
Tac-22

You have to respect the manufacturer who gives an unconditional 100% satisfaction guarantee or your money back!

NOTE that one poor shot killed that card. All fliers are the shooter's fault. Don't blame the barrel.

Additionally, I went to an ARA unlimited match with that rifle and that rest and that ammo. Didn't belong in with them but they let me shoot a 'courtesy' card with them that day for recruitment purposes. I shot a 1030 with no less than 5 PURE dead center X's.

Not too shabby for an auto loading 22 with a skinny barrel shooting of rice-filled jean bags using a 9x scope if you ask me.

Okay... so you didn't ask.

Thank you buckweet.

BTW... that is one with the rubber bedding in the receiver and barrel channel.

Just like Feddersen said... less vibrations...

Just finished removing that barrel from that receiver and put the original barrel back on and rubber bedded the whole shootin' iron in a vintage carbine stock.

Feddersen told me when I bought that barrel that "they like to be held down in front".

To which I said... "you mean like a barrel band"...

Answer... "Yep, exactly, keep your barrel band on"

I always wondered if I could squeeze more blood out of it if I did that.

Gonna find out pretty soon.

Using the oem barrel because I didn't want to open up the channel for the Feddersen at this time.

Sounds great.
The ideal...of ( keep em tight)..
I've a few old military service rifles.
German and Swedish. Russian.
Same principles..
They do shoot pretty decent.
I've took a liking, with the Feddersen barrel in the Ruger target stock,
I'm ready to start shooting it.
.....
The Hogue overmolded stock.
And the majestic arm's barreled action.
18 incher.
Feels like they was made for each other.
Should be some fun shooting with these two.
