If I am going to invest in a new several hundred dollar barrel, I am also going to spend another 3-400 and get someone who has done them before to install it. Also please note that Anschutz receivers are not threaded from the factory. Anschutz Barrels are pressed in and pinned, some have the whole thing threaded, but I am seeing more smiths use the press and glue for re-barrels because it works just as well.
