Anybody have a magnum research. I had one and got rid of it, I was shocked at the accuracy. Regretted the sale so I have ordered another with the walnut stock.

Have not owned one, but have shot a couple. It is a very nice rifle, and I thought it shot very well for such a light rifle, probably a great hunting rifle. But neither of the ones I shot could compare to my Kidd Supergrade. Of course the Kidd has a much better trigger, is heavier, and costs a lot more.

Of the one's reported here, none have had anything exceptional to report!

So your saying they are sub par? I am going to add a kidd trigger kit. The aluminum barrel one i had shot very well. World's better than my cz 455.

From my limited experience, I certainly would not describe it as sub par. I don't know what "very well" means in your description. The rifles I shot probably averaged slightly over .5" with match ammo at 50 yards. That is good performance, but not in the category of precision accuracy. The Kidd two-stage trigger would help in shootability, but if you add $300, then you're getting kind of close to the price of the Kidd rifle, which I prefer.
