Were Canjar triggers ever a Winchester factory option? If so, what models? Thanks very much.

I don't think so. Just recently there was a 52C on GB where the seller claimed it had the "rare Canjar trigger" offered as "a Winchester option". First time I had heard this claim and know of no published information to back it up. E models were the only rifles I know of that Winchester offered a custom trigger, and by Kenyon.

I believe Winchester offered the Kenyon trigger as a factory option on the 52E International Match

I didn't think Canjar was ever an option. Kenyon and another I can't recall were, but only on much later guns...correct? And, the Freeland wasn't a factory option until the late D's and E's...correct? Thanks very much guys, I appreciate your input. These are such fascinating guns with so many intricacies!

It might have been an option through the Winchester custom shop. The only aftermarket triggers that I am aware of Winchester offering via their catalog sales were the Kenyon and "ISU" trigger. I have never seen an "ISU" trigger but I have heard they were nothing more than a 2-stage Kenyon trigger.

A friend of mine had 2-stage Kenyon triggers on his Anschutz rifles and they are interesting albeit seldom encountered.
