I would be proud to own such a fine example of the breed. Took completely apart a 1907 sample the other day that had nickel plated receiver and butt plate. Wonderful experience delving into the high quality built into this rifle. Sharp edges, yes I too found some. The only thing regretful in my case, and more reason for you to feel fortunate, was that the bore is fairly rough making this one a wall hanger or a candidate for a reline.
