I have done a lot of muzzle loader shooting of the crossed sticks but have not tried them for walk around hunting yet. Should work great. Nice job and great picture Sophia!

I took my Adler A-110 lever action shotgun out for a run last night, shot six foxes with it. I had my Tikka .223 slung over my back, and nailed one shy one with it too.

Hey Fenring, what is your opinion of that Adler now that you've used it some? They are now available in the US

Hey Huntsman, you need to teach that dog to point now.

For us here, where for the most part we can't have pumps or semi autos they are a workable option for a repeating shotgun.

I would not have one over the likes of a Remmy 870 or 1100 or similar, and I've owned those too pre 1996 when they took the lot to "make Australia safer."

The Adler is a cheap gun and sells for about $850AUD here, the action tends to be a bit notchy and rattly, and I can see where costs have been cut to keep the price down. It's adequate for a workable pest gun, but I'd have my doubts about durability over time and many rounds.

Thanks for the report. I had a feeling that it wouldn't be a good option for us here. I'm sure Australia is much safer now that you can't have an 870. Maybe someday that will change for you folks down there.
