A lunar eclipse will always happen during a full moon because the earth has to be between the Sun and the moon in order to cast a shadow on the moon.

30% of the general population confess to texting while driving.

70% of us think many of you aren't as nearly good at it as you think.

Yeah, and the other 60% won't admit it.

Having a dumpster outside your office window when they are removing the interior across the road can be louder than an indoor range on a Saturday...

Ear-muffs coming to work next week...

The signature weapons of Selene (Kate Beckinsale) are two Beretta 92FS handguns modified to fire in full auto with barrel weights attached, possibly standing in for compensators.

The military salute is derived from medieval tymes when knights raised their visors to identify themselves.

The common hand shake as we know it came about to signify as a friendly greeting sans any weapon in the traditional weapon hand ie the right hand.

"Zealandia (pronunciation: /ziːˈlændiə/), also known as the New Zealand continent or Tasmantis, is a nearly submerged continental fragment that sank after breaking away from Australia 60–85 Ma (million years) ago, having separated from Antarctica between 85 and 130 Ma ago. It may have been completely submerged about 23 Ma ago, and most of it (93%) remains submerged beneath the Pacific Ocean. How strongly Bollons Seamount (south of the Chatham Islands) remains connected to Zealandia is unknown. With a total area of approximately 4,920,000 km2 it is the world's largest current microcontinent, more than twice the size of the next-largest microcontinent and more than half the size of the Australian continent. As such, and due to other geological considerations (such as crustal thickness and density), it is arguably a continent in its own right.

Zealandia supports substantial inshore fisheries and contains New Zealand's largest gas field, near Taranaki. Permits for oil exploration in the Great South Basin were issued in 2007. Offshore mineral resources include iron sands, volcanic massive sulfides and ferromanganese nodule deposits."
