How'dy? I have been checking out your site and it seems there are no more gun stocks displayed. Cheers!

Yes, We are still playing catch up from orders over the holidays. We hope to add them back to the site later.

I wish the CWP website showed pics of these 10/22 stocks..I'm interested in buying a new stock for mine and prefer laminate over anything else...the link on here is misleading as it shows stocks on the link but when you get to the website...nothing.

I purchased 2 new stocks a couple weeks ago. I wanted to check out some from CWP, but after checking the website every day for 2 weeks and not seeing any listed I ordered stocks from elsewhere.

They make laminates and are the OEM supplier of Ruger laminated stocks. Usually there are stocks shown on their site.

They posted on Facebook that they're stopping stock production for "OEM production" whatever that means.

OEM = original equipment manufacturer. They're too busy making stocks for Ruger to make any for sale to the public.

My understanding is, this is a small Maine company that apparently got a contract to produce stocks for Ruger. Nice work if you can get it. They then offered various stocks direct from them. I purchased a few got some great deals.

My guess is, they at times become overwhelmed with servicing the Ruger contract, and can't offer stocks retail. I have no problem with that.

If it turns out, as someone suggested, that they are no longer making stocks for Ruger, well, that's a shame. I hope they continue to make stocks available on the retail market. The ones I have purchased from them have been very very nice.

It's not just Ruger. When Rutland burned down a while back, that left Cousineau Woods the only supplier of wood laminate panels suitable for gun stock production. Their prices went up and panel leadtimes become much longer. It is what it is. Supply and demand. I lucked out and bought a number of their panels over a period of time. Or else I would be hard put to keep up at all.
