My Nylon 66 shoots them like a laser, BUT I cant go through a tube of them without a failure to fire.

My other 22LR rifles, the accuracy just is not there, like it is with $7 a box ammo and when I say the accuracy isnt there, I mean to say GB's are terrible. Often times I cant 5 shots to touch each other at 50m.

Great plinking ammo I suppose.

I remember Goldens being okay, years ago, no worse than anything else. Since I got back into shooting in 2008, it's another story. Dirty, too many fails to fire. Plus I've only had brass failure twice in my life. Both were with GBs. The base of the cartridge totally separated from the tube, not a fun experience, but no harm done in my cases.

The final straw is the pricing. Forty bucks for 500 rounds of third rate ammo ended it for me. I can get much better for less than thirty.

I doubt I have much Remington .22 r.f. ammo left.
Bang, poof, thud, click!
Almost ALL my rim fire ammo is Eley, Wolf, CCI, Armscor, & CCI.
What Remington JUNK I didn't shoot up I gave to a newbie shooter
with his two teen aged boys.
I "gifted" it to them.
Armscor is made in the Philippines and evidently quality control is better.
I prefer American made goods but NONE of the rim fire makers can
compete with Eley and even Armscor.

http://armscor.com/ammo/rifle/

Eley is British.
ELEY is a British company who have manufactured ammunition since 1828.

Remington needs to wake up.
Norma TAC is superior ammunition and I have a couple thousand rounds of .22 r.f.
of that in house.

Winchester is superior to Remington but not on par with Norma or Eley.
Why some shooters balk at a few bucks a brick more for superior ammo
is beyond me.
I'm going to venture that I have at least 15,000 rounds of r.f. ammo
in house and that's a drop in the bucket compared to some shooters I
know.
Most have at least 50,000 rounds of favorite ammo in house.
Hummmmmmmm??????????????

I better get busy and catch up.
