Bozz10mm, Is there a price sticker anywhere on the ammo? Wonder how much that box was back in '68?

I also have a Model 41. It's a non Targetmaster model. I did find a serial number on the bottom of the barrel under the stock. It's a great shooter and will be going to one of my boys once I find another for the other.

I'm always struck by the similarity of our "photo" locations.

I envy you the 41P but every one I've come across had something wrong with it that kept me from buying it, great taste in outdoor tables and rifles Sir.

Rem 41 bolt disassembly

Afternoon folks, I'm James. I have a aug of 36 targetmaster that my grand-dad cut to 18" barrel and a pistol grip stock. It's been sitting for about 40 yrs and I'm rebuilding it for my grandson. Aside from the associated crud, it's in great shape.

My question is: Is there a tech manual / youtube video / desktop folder on the back shelf that gives a good tear down / reassembly procedure for the bolt and mainspring?

I have been researching for over a week and haven't found anything useful.

any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks for your time
james

41&41p

Good day everyone:
I have a 41 and a 41p,with the 41p I have all of the original front inserts along with the envelope that they came in from Remington.

I also have a complete set of spare sights also with the correct front inserts and envelope that I have been saving in case I find a 341p missing its sights.

It has taken me a minimum of 20 years to find the correct inserts and envelopes for my 41p.

they are out there just very hard to find.

Z

I'm trying to identify an odd mark next to the date stamp on my Targetmaster model 41. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
