Quick input on the value of an older long barrel/tube model 60 with checkered hardwood stock in very good condition?

Local gun show find and dealer has had it the set two shows, about 6 months apart. Looks to be in very good shape but I did not look very closely. Tag had a price of $230, seems to me to be the high end but what say you?

It's high. I see them for $125-$150. If it has a long tube plus the LSHO may be worth a bit more, but most sellers don't differentiate.

I agree.

I even got a steal at a Gander Mountain about a year ago. $99 for a 1983 60 that had the forearm sticker attached and the manual still hanging from the trigger guard with the original zip tie. It probably had a box of ammo shot though it from the amount of residue in the action and the lack of wear inside the receiver.

$230 is why he's had it for 6+ months.

A few months ago, I picked up a Model 60 made in 1990. I paid $140 for mine.

I got my '82 on gunbroker for $130 shipped. It wasn't pristine...been well used, but the bore and muzzle look almost new... PO prob never cleaned it..

$230 is way too high, in my opinion.
