Just a thought.

Yea-
I just use my own server-space and WS-FTP to upload stuff from my computer.
Make directories, rename, delete just as your own system.

Thank you LVmike for those nice words. RFC certainly has my permission to do so, I am not aware of how to make it so. Currently, it is just a posting within LDThornton's TRIGGER MOD thread in the sticky section. His informative thread inspired me to do this project.

It's fun for me to check the Download-counter, every now and then, since it was available for access. In 10 weeks, it has been downloaded about 180 times thru 2 hosts.

A big "Thank you" for this! I had stripped the action down to do a thorough cleaning and was called away on the dreaded honey-do and lost the mental images in my head of where everything went. With your pics it went back together in a snap! Hope you don't mind but I downloaded the images for future reference.

I also agree that this should be a sticky.

I took an action apart last week to replace a buffer.

Turns out the buffer needed replacing because Bubba used carb cleaner or such and melted half the buffer.

Guess what happens when the solvent w/ dissolved nylon evaporates? That's right, little nylon pancakes wherever the solvent puddled.

What a PITA, I already vented about this on another thread!

ArrowDodger, that's fantastic work you did in putting the presentation together. Thank you and your daughter!

Thanks much ! I get a kick showing my daughter your kind remarks. She needs credit time for community service, do ya think this qualifies? She isn't on parole, its just something her high school requires.

I kept getting the dead link message also when trying to go from pic to pic, be patient, maybe its a bandwidth issue?

Great job you and your daughter did on this. I printed the steps out to take to my work area with me. Sometimes I like figuring things out and somtimes not. I did not notice if this was a sticky but it should be.

Thank you for the presentation! I don't even own a Marlin 60 yet. However, based on my experience with other guns, I know this presentation will prove to save me a huge headache.

AarowDodger:

I only recently became owner of a model 60, and I just can't say enough on how helpful you and your daughter's generous and informative input has been.

If all is right with this world, your daughter should receive a well deserved credit for her part in your collective work.

You two have made my little "60" project a whole bunch easier!

Thanks again, BFB

ArrowDodger,

That is just the best thing in the world. I have owned my 60 for about 10yrs and dreaded the thought of having to take it apart. With your tutorial, it went better than putting on a pair of socks, and I have trouble doing that some days

Another vote to be a sticky. Thank you and your daughter.
