Model 60 action assembly

My daughter and I put together a PowerPoint slide show on how to tear-down and re-assemble the Model 60 Action assembly. OttoMears was kind enough to create a PDF of it and BWGSTOCK was kind enough to reduce the file size. Thank you John and Bryan.

http://www.4shared.com/file/17796809..._PDF_1221.html

Or YouTube video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3oF8QHgVzH8

Additional Youtube video with tricks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKFiTHkhkDU

Earlier, I was not sure how to upload it for public access, but with help from other RFC members, in subsequent posts on this thread, we were able to do it. Enjoy !

You could upload the file to a file sharing site like snapdrive.net and then share a link to the file here. There are many other such sites but snapdrive is the one I use. I'm sure many of us here would be very interested to see what you've created.

Thanks Specter. I posted it on 4Shared.com. Snapdrive would not accept a .pps file.

Should be a sticky

Hey, that's a really good, thorough job you did on the presentation. The clear pictures and concise explanations make it seem even easier to me and I've disassembled a few of these in my time. You even taught me a thing or two I didn't already know that will make it easier for the next time I have to tear one down. I don't think there is anything else that a person would need to know in order to disassemble and reassemble one of these actions. This is something that should definitely be added as a sticky for all to see.

Arrow thats a great idea. I don't own a 60 but good to see folks helping out like this. Wish there was more of this going on in other areas.

Do I have to "login/register" to look at the file?

I get "click here to download" and nothing happens.

If your browser is set to automatically download files to a certain folder, you will have to navigate to that folder. If not sure, you should be able to look in your browser's options to see what it does with downloads. With mine, when I 'click to download' I get a prompt asking if I want to save it or view it and so I saved it to my desktop.

Microsoft should have integrated basic PowerPoint Viewing into their os or moviemaker. Yeah Microsoft.

Oops-I got the right pew.

Great Job folks !
Was able to download and view using Ubuntu Linux and Open Office.

Very good info for those of us who can't keep from "messing" with stuff.

Thanks
