I went to one of my favorite shops today and this mint 60 came home with me. It came with the Glenfield 4x15 scope. I would conclude after disassembly this rifle has been shot very little.

Nice original. I have one from wife's grandfather still has stickers on the stock from 1960s. They shoot good but don't like to be run dirty

Beautiful rifle, I really like the stock on your rifle. I picked up a 1973 Marlin Glenfield off Gunbroker at a good price, the stock is in good condition but,
looks like it's imitation wood. I'll post some photo's tomorrow. Good luck with your Model 60, it's a beauty...

Thank you and thank you! I wish the trigger was better but I like collecting the "old stuff" because there is no plastic! I'll submit a range report in a few week but this rifle looks like a winner!

Beautiful rifle and incredible condition for a vintage Glenfield. The trigger can be improved significantly. See the stickies in this forum. I worked on a Marlin trigger this evening that finished up with a 3.4 lb pull which is about where I wanted it.

Nice.

I have a 1973 which I bought when got out of service. Don't shoot it much anymore but It is still blemish free on stock and barrel. I may have to take with when go shooting tomorrow along with my AR-7. Looks like a nice addition for you.
