why do you need a replacement spring?

I've got mags that are 35+ years old and have had untold thousands, probably more like tens of thousands of rounds in the ones I still have from when I worked at a range/gun shop when I was a kid, through them that don't need new springs yet

You can always disassemble, clean, and adjust the spring tension accordingly. As above, I have never needed a new spring in any of my mags no matter how much I have shot with them. I've only needed to take one down out of ten mags to clean the inside when it got a bit sluggish. With regular use only the feed lips on mine need a quick wipe down.

Adjusting the spring tension is easy when you get the hang of it. Youtube is your friend.

Thanks,
You can't buy just the spring. You have to buy a whole new magazine. I have magazines that are 50+ years old and never had one fail yet.

Thanks,
Did you take the magazine apart and somehow lose the spring? I've never heard of a 10/22 magazine spring breaking or weakening. I suppose you could call Ruger Customer Service and ask them if you can buy a magazine spring, but they don't show them for sale on ShopRuger.

Thanks,
Numrich has it on their online catalogue but sadly it has always shown (at least for me) as "soldout".

Did you dis-assemble yours to clean it out and ended up turning it too many times before putting it back? Like I did ?
