I am glad I waited to upgrade my factory stock. This looks like a winner to me!

I had wanted a takedown when they first come out but couldn't really wrap my mind around the concept so I put off buying one. Now that this stock has come out I think I will finally get one. This really takes the 10/22 to another level as a prepper style rifle. The mag storage & barrel mount for a mini red-dot is what I've been looking for. The grip storage for a bore snake & oil bottle is a plus as well.

A water proof hard case for vehicle storage or a backpack for camping/hiking are the only things needed now.

The takedown block barrel mount is brilliant.

Send a message via AIM to comfisherman
guess I'll need another takedown

Purchased a takedown for no reason other than it was cool.

Going to purchase this and another for the same reason.....

Have multiple compact and folding rifles, but I can't pass up supporting a company willing to bring a super sweet product to market. It would be in American of me.....

Please Magpul, don't wait years to get this on the shelves

That is a well thought out upgrade for the TD 10/22.

My congrats to the maker of the video in the link. The music fit the theme and what a great use of stop motion animation to demonstrate the features of the stock.

I might buy one of these when they are available.

Really like my Hunter stock on my 10/22 and planning to sell my Take Down because I just don't shoot it much or enjoy shooting it as much as my other two. This stock has me reconsidering.

I am torn between the two X22 takedown stocks. This really complicates things now.

From the magpul site, click on "New products" and scroll down slightly if THIS LINK doesn't work.

VERY impressive piece of work, especially the fore-end mounted rail. All the justification I need to get a TD now. (Glad I procrastinated & didn't get the Hunter X22 TD version - I really like the storage compartments & how the fore-end attaches to the underside of the stock so everything is together.

The link in my post is dead for some reason but the link in PJD642's post works.

X-22 Backpacker stock

I like it. I've been trying to figure out what I wanted to do next on my TakeDown now that I've got it shooting better and that looks like it might be perfect for my needs.

This, settles it for me. Gotta get a take down now.

Any way get a take down with a carbon fiber barrel?

I like the add on optic mount. It replaces the factory barrel block. GREAT idea. It solves the problem many of us have with the Takedown, the inability for the optic to return to perfect POA after dis/reassembly. Plus I see there is a raised comb for the stock. PERFECT. More money to Magpul from me.
