Geco ammo

I tried out some GECO seim-auto ammo in my bolt action RUGER 77/22 with Bushnell SportsView 3-9X scope at 100 yards.
I got very good results after sighting in. Or maybe the shooting gods were just smiling on me.
This is my target after 20 rounds at 100 yards.

Very impressive shooting!

Especially considering you shot 20 shots and did not get one flyer!

It is Swiss/German made. I heard, but not for certain, that it is a sub-division of RWS.

Thank you. I've been shooting for 63 years, I'm 68. My dad started me young.

The Aerospace/Defense Contractor Ruag headquartered in Switzerland oversees both GECO and RWS brands.

Both are manufactured in Fürth Germany along with additional brands Norma, Prime and Federal UM22 and 922A.

LKA116 Good shooting! Purchase MORE of that specific Lot Number if possible! Your rifle likes it!

If it were me personally I would buy as many boxes of that lot number that are available to you.

I shot some in my Volquartsen Scorpion last week. The shot at 6 is me not a flyer. I must say that I was impressed with its performance but, except for the first round in each magazine, nearly every round failed to feed.

My newest Rem 37 really likes GECO. Great place to buy it is Sportsmans Guide.

The failure to feed issue is why I have always preferred bolt action rifles and revolvers.
