If they have so much unsold inventory, how come none of it is showing up on the shelves of the local stores? There is some, but not much. And there is almost no 22 Magnum. Remington told me they were not even loading 22 Magnum right now. I did find a few boxes of 22 Mag in a local gun shop, but he wanted $25 a box! Of course, after paying shipping, I am hitting right at $25 a box, anyway.

I never see any .22 mag, .22wrf, .22 hornet, .260 Remington, 35 Remington. Even .22lr is spotty still and not much selection.

Around here it seems like people finally realized the 50k rounds they were hoarding is enough and quite buying everything on the shelf.

Sad thing about the rimfire hoarding, in a shtf event we should have been hoarding centerfire.

I'm 5 years behind on 17hm2 purchases, fire up the line. Doing trigger finger calisthenics for an up coming whistle pig safari, would be great to dust off the ol hm2's and torch a few thousand rounds.

??? I see lots of 22mag ammo.
http://ammoseek.com/ammo/22-magnum
Check these guys out, some is only .21 a round plus shipping. I've put plenty of orders in with various dealers on there.Don't be afraid of Armscore ammo either. I have 4 22mags and it shoots about 1 1/2" with them all. The best ( accurate ) ammo has been the Hornady and the absolute worse has been the Winchester " in my 22mags". Might be different in yours.

If CCI has so much "surplus" maybe they should distribute it!? and if they are caught up with centerfire production maybe they could put some components back on the shelves?

I try to always keep .35 Remington in stock. Very popular here in Vermont. I know I have 4 boxes left.

The Armscor .22 WMR is completely reliable in my Automag II; unfortunately I haven't been able to get more. Got about 4 cases on backorder.

I've bought it at Fleet Farm and Walmart off the shelf.

Walmart was $13.47 per 50 for CCI 40gr. The fancy stuff is around $15.
